Why this page exists

There is no single global answer to "can I use Bybit". The company operates through different entities, serves different product sets in different places, and does not serve some countries at all. A guide written for one market can be actively misleading in another, so this page is the neutral entry point rather than an offer.

Not served by the global platform

Bybit's published list of service-restricted jurisdictions currently names the United States, the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Uzbekistan, Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine, Sevastopol, Sudan and Syria. A separate restriction applies to Dubai in the case of Bybit Virtual Asset Platform Operator LLC. If you live in one of these places, this site has nothing to sell you and no account to recommend.

European Economic Area

EEA residents are served by Bybit EU GmbH, authorised in Austria as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCAR, rather than by the global platform. Services are not currently available to residents of Malta. The product set differs from the global platform, so figures written for the global platform should not be applied to it.

Japan and Korea

Bybit has been withdrawing services for residents of Japan. In Korea, Bybit publicly restricts affiliates from targeting the Korean market. We therefore publish no acquisition guidance for either market.

Everywhere else

Country guides appear here only once availability, the operating entity and the specific product set have each been verified against an official source and dated. An empty slot means we have not finished checking, not that the answer is yes.
